Where a minimum of 48 hours’ notice (from the day of pickup) has been supplied for all cancellations and booking amendments, you will be entitled to a full refund minus our £10 administration charge.
If you do not provide at least a 48 hours’ notice, we will be unable to offer any refund for money already paid irrespective of when the booking was made.
* If the Refund guarantee is paid for at the time of booking then you will be entitled to a full refund minus the £10 already paid (no shows will not be refunded).

We expect you to return the vehicle in a condition that it can be re- hired, if the vehicle requires anything more than a wash off and vacuumed then you will be charged for a full valet at the rate of £60 + Vat.
** Any pet hair in the vehicle will result in full loss of deposit
Smoking and vaping is strictly prohibited in all vehicles: and any evidence found will result in a charge of £75 - £250.
Great news! There is a 15 minute grace period for daily rentals. If the van is returned outside of this period daily rental charges & late return fees will be payable.
Failure to notify us of late returns will result in your account being blacklisted.
Your up to date Photo Driving License must be produced at the time of collection & all drivers need to have held a full drivers licence for a minimum of 2 years.
* Up to date Photocard Driving Licenses must be produced at the time of collection - we cannot accept photographs.
** For customers using the old Paper Style UK Drivers Licenses, will also need to see their passport (must be in date)
*** If a Drivers License needs updating & it won't be received back in time, then the application must be processed in our office - if this is the case, they will also need to supply their passport (must be in date) & have access to their GOV.UK One Login.
If your divers license was issued outside of the UK you must call the office prior to booking.
* If your driving licence was issued outside of the EU, you must present this together with an international licence - we cannot accept international licenses on their own. We advise all Non-EU driving Licence holders to check their eligibility to drive in UK as certain restrictions apply if they have been resident in the UK for more than 12 months.
An access / verification code must be obtained to allow us to view your driving record information, this can be obtained at: www.gov.uk/view-driving-license free of charge or alternatively you can call on 0300 083 0013 between 8:00am - 7:00pm Monday to Friday & 8:00am - 2:00pm Saturday. The generated code will be valid for 21 days - if you have access to a printer: please click the link underneath your code to print your driver summary & produce this when collecting your vehicle to speed up the booking out process.
Confirming your current address, these may include: bank statements, utility bill or council tax bills & must be dated within 90 days of the hire- please view "What proofs of address do you accept' for a compehensive list of acceptable proofs"
* A passport cannot be accepted as a form of address authentication it does not have a printed address in it.

We also require every driver to bring a bank card in their name with at least a £1 available balance to complete our insurance verification.
We require two proofs of address from separate sources - both proofs must be dated within 90 days of the hire date.
The address and name on the drivers license must match on both proofs & at least one of the documents must be from the primary list below:

This is dependent on the date and nature of the offence & also the van hire enterprise.
As a genral rule, we cannot hire to anyone with more than six points on their license - more than six points can be considered on a case by case basis by prior arrangement (please note that our insurance providers are operating limited hours due to coronavirus so we cannot refer any cases on weekend days).

All vehicles must be returned with the same fuel level as at the time of pick up. If the self drive van hire vehicle is not returned with the same level of fuel then a £25 per 1/8th (or part thereof) will be charged for the cost of replacement fuel.
The refuelling charge will be added to your hire at the time of vehicle return for the following hires:
To add additional drivers to your van booking: simply select the number of additional drivers using the dropdown fields on the enquiry / booking forms. Alternatively, speak to our office staff on 0800 861 1001.
All additional drivers are required to attend in person at the time of hire and produce their Driving Licence, Access Code / printed DVLA Driving Summary (if applicable) and ID as per main driver.
Additional drivers are charged at £15 per driver, per day. Unless previously agreed, a maximum of 4 drivers are allowed on any self drive van hire.
Our insurance covers drivers from the age of 25 - 75 with a minimum of 2 years driving experience for self drive van hire. **For certain vehicle groups we can accept drivers of 23 years+ on a case by case basis by prior arrangement (please note that our insurance providers are operating limited hours due to coronavirus so we cannot refer any cases on weekend days).
**Please note that all drivers aged between 23 & 25 will incur an additional surcharge of £35. (This is also accompanied by a increase in insurance excess & deposit - if CDW is taken at the time of booking this reduces by £500).
